1^st Generation Aluminium :- Soft Metal With Terminal Slots That Widen And Break .

                              Poor Conductivity Compared To Other Metals. Cheap and easy to manufacture

2^nd Generation Steel With Zinc Coat :- Steel Is Strong But Rusts

So These Are Normally Coated With Zinc.

                               Looks Good When New But The Zinc Coat Wears Off So Rusting Occurs.

                               Both Steel And Zinc Are Relatively Poor Conductors Compared To Copper .

                               Attempts To Overcome This problem Was To Add An Extra Conductor Terminal

                               So An Extra Wire Conductor From The Rail To The relay Could Be Added.

3^rd Generation  Copper :- Excellent Properties But Merely A Copy Of The Original With All Of Its Fault

                                                 The Terminal Slots Sound good in Theory But They Also wear And Widen

                                                  And Are Still fiddly To Fit

                                                  Trying To Get The Four Washers On The Glow Plugs Correctly Fitted
