MITSUBISHI 4M40 2.8 TD ZEXEL / BOSCH DIESEL INJECTION PUMP OVERHAUL SEAL KIT
Diesel injection pump overhaul seal kit for Mitsubishi 2.8 TD 4M40 engines fitted with the Zexel VE-type diesel injection pump.
This kit combines the genuine Bosch / Zexel injection pump overhaul seal kit with the separate genuine Bosch / Zexel front shaft seal.
We have also added the large pump mounting flange O-ring used on the 4M40 engine, making this a more complete kit for overhaul and resealing work.

1 x Genuine Bosch / Zexel H146601070 / 146601-0700 front shaft seal
1 x Additional large 4M40 pump mounting flange O-ring, approximately 125mm outside diameter

4M40 PUMP FLANGE O-RING:
The additional large O-ring is approximately 125mm outside diameter and fits around the injection pump mounting flange where the pump assembly fits into the engine timing cover.
This O-ring seals the pump mounting area and helps prevent engine oil leaking from around the injection pump flange.
The photograph shows the location of this large O-ring on the pump mounting flange.
IMPORTANT:
This is not simply the standard Bosch / Zexel overhaul packet on its own.
The genuine Bosch / Zexel overhaul seal kit and separate genuine Bosch / Zexel front shaft seal are supplied together, with the additional large 4M40 pump flange O-ring included by Pajero Shop to provide a more complete seal kit for the 4M40 application.
